Frequently asked questions
How often should my boat be serviced?
Once a year or at the hours interval in your engine manual, whichever comes first. Boats kept in the warm water of the Mar Menor benefit from a quick mid-season check of the impeller, strainer and anodes.
Can you service my boat at its berth?
Yes. Most servicing can be done at your berth, mooring or on a trailer. Some jobs, like antifouling or bellows replacement, need the boat out of the water, and we can arrange the lift.
Will servicing by you affect my warranty?
We follow the manufacturer’s schedule and use suitable parts, and record everything in a written report. If your engine is still under warranty, tell us when you book so we can check the manufacturer’s specific requirements.
Do you winterise boats?
Yes, we offer winterisation and spring recommissioning, and can combine it with lift-out and storage.
