We use manufacturer diagnostic software where the engine supports it, along with compression testers, pressure gauges, multimeters and infrared thermometers.

How much does fault finding cost?
We agree a diagnostic charge up front. Once we know the cause, we give you a fixed quote for the repair and only go ahead with your approval.
Can you diagnose over the phone?
Often we can narrow it down. Send us a description, photos or a short video on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s something simple you can check yourself.
Do you always replace parts?
No. Where it makes sense, we repair or recondition: starter motors, alternators and some pumps can be reconditioned for far less than a new part.
